Shanna shared a powerful story from her past while emphasizing that at anytime all of us can be someone who needs a hand. This story drives her to make a difference in the world and be someone who tries to do whatever she can to help others. She recognizes that there is not enough money in the world to address every need and that she has been working with United Way of Pueblo County to build capacity; capacity in people, capacity in organizations, and capacity in the community. The more we work together to expand all of these different capacities, the better prepared we will be to meet the needs of others. It takes ALL of us working together to meet all of these needs in the world. The more we all look at what we can do to build our own capacity and the capacity of others, the better the world will become!
